Book Review of Murder, Mi Amore
A jewelry heist goes terribly wrong placing Lexie Cortese in the center of danger when a diamond is placed inside her purse by mistake.  Soon, Lexie is glancing over her shoulder and danger looms around every corner.
A tourist in Rome, Lexie is looking forward to her new life without the baggage of old attachments. Making three wishes at the Trevi Fountain,  Lexie hopes to one day find love and happiness. Unbeknownst to Lexie, her sexy Italian hero is set to emerge, but his entry into her life is anything but happenstance.
From the beginning, author Cara Marsi sets the stage for a thrilling romantic suspense packed with excitement.  With fewer than forty thousand words, this novella is written in a way where every line counts. Each page is filled with passages to treasure.
Ms. Marsi captivates her readers as she takes them by the hand and leads them down the streets of Rome.  Right away, readers will feel the energy of Italy’s thriving capital city. They’ll find themselves immersed in the culture, stopping along the way to revel in the magnificent architecture as seen through a writer’s eyes.
Vivid descriptions, charming dialogue, and a fantastic storyline make this novella a must-read for those who enjoy thrillers, action-adventure, and suspense. To top it off Murder, Mi Amore is a tender sweet romance with all the makings of a book perfectly suited for film adaptation.
Cara Marsi earns a standing ovation. Murder, Mi Amore is sensational.

Our traffic continues to increase thanks to many of you spreading the word about Romance Reviews Submitted by Authors. This site is a labor of love and a true opportunity for authors to receive a fair share of additional promotion above and beyond the advertising spaces purchased.

We continue to look for author-reviewers willing to review, but ask for serious inquiries only. Several books were sent out for review without a review returned. When this happens, we don't send out another free copy, we purchase the book because the advertising author didn't provide a free copy for review and instruct us to send out their PDFs like a free-for-all.

With the aforementioned, we understand things happen, schedules change, and very often it's tough to review a book when deadlines loom. Still, if you have some free time, we'd love to offer you the opportunity to review one of our books in exchange for the PR our reviews receive via Twitter, Facebook, and other social media sites. Just drop a line to: reviewsforallauthors@gmail.com. Additionally, we’re looking for one author to interview our advertising authors. Please inquire direct to destinyblaine@yahoo.com.

A limited number of author showcases are available. Link ads are still available as well. We don't have cover ad spots open at this time. However, since we are a first-come-first-serve site, we will hold spaces for advertising beginning November 1st. Reviews only post after advertisement term begins. Currently, we’re taking care of our backlog first.

I'll be out of town this weekend, but will return on Monday to answer any questions you may have about the site. My daughter will release the reviews set for today. I have a feeling you'll enjoy many of them. ;)

Thank you for joining us. Have a great weekend!

Book Review: Ramshackle Castle by K.A. M'Lady

Ramshackle Castle—Book Synopsis

Come, walk the night road through your memory of childhood fairy tales, limericks, ghostly apparitions and the lingering breath of classic poetry gone awry. At the Castle, magick and mayhem are a lyrical delight spun with fairy dust. It may at times be dark, dusty and a bit bent but every word is a glamorous enchantment.

Ramshackle Castle is a collection of bent, altered and otherwise skewed verses and poems. K.A. M’Lady’s works take on a range of emotion, from comical, morose, sad, and dramatic. Admittedly, I was a bit daunted by the task of reviewing a book of “bent” and “altered” verses. It isn’t every day that you sit down to read such pieces, but after delving in, I was, first and foremost, relieved that I knew the inspiration of many of the verses and poems! I’ll admit, I felt a bit intelligent for this fact alone. Secondly, I loved reading the twisted, melancholy, and oft times humorous, words of K.A. M’Lady. What an adventure!

Let’s start by saying, she’s paid homage to the likes of Frost and Poe, and that bodes well for her in my opinion! I grew up reading both, and to see their works twisted was entertaining to be certain. One of my favorite poems was a rendition of Robert Frost’s Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. I have very vivid memories of singing a madrigal piece set to this Frost poem. As I was reading M’Lady’s version, Another Dumb Ass Lost in the Snow, I was rolling in laughter. All I could think of was this somber and moody musical piece set to M’Lady’s comical rendition of Frost’s words. She had me at “Thank God my car has not a brain.”

M’Lady is quite obviously gifted in verse and poetry, and for that, my hat’s off to her. She has taken an interesting approach to the collection, and it is very much worth the read. There is such a broad range of poems and writings in Ramshackle Castle that you are sure to find something that will bring a tear to your eye or a laugh to your day.
I can’t wait to read more from K.A. M’Lady.

"Sax and Mia—two parts of a song like words and music—love finds them

Backstage Pass

Backstage Pass—Book Synopsis

Sax and Mia—two parts of a song like words and music—love finds them in the least likely place. Will the music stop when a jealous ex tries to take back what she threw away?

After a tough year following her divorce and the loss of her beloved pet, Mia finally accepts an invitation to a dance at a senior center for a peaceful night out. Over the past few months she has buried herself in work and rarely left the house. What she finds at the dance takes her completely off guard causing her to regret going out at all. A tangled relationship is the last thing she needs.

Charming and modest, Sax wins her over with gentle persistence and she discovers they share more in common than a love for music. Mia loses her backstage pass and fears she’s also lost her man. Somewhat reserved, she feels out of place in his world especially when a jealous ex-wife seems determined to take back what she threw away.
When his ex makes an encore performance during a romantic evening with Mia, can Sax convince his new love that his past is truly behind him or will she run away again?

A steamy contemporary romance, Backstage Pass, follows a chance encounter between Sax and Mia. Sax is a musician that catches Mia’s attention at a concert, and their heat boils over in short work. Mia has suffered loss and heartache that leaves Sax wanting to right the wrongs of her previous relationship. Enter a nasty ex-wife, and you have a recipe for emotional turmoil that threatens their blossoming relationship. This is a story about real people with real pasts that cause real challenges in their very real, albeit very hot, relationship!

One of the most notable details that captured my attention as I read Storm Savage’s Backstage Pass was just how darn quick you can fall in love with these characters. Sax and Mia are written in an exceptionally genuine way. They are decent and morally strong characters that leave you rooting for them from the get go. Their heat is intense and when you couple that with their incredible authentic likability and honest emotional portrayal, it makes for a book that is easy to invest your heart in.

It is often difficult to build believable chemistry in a shorter story, or I should say, to build the deep emotionally bonded chemistry that you expect to see in longer romance novels. However, Storm manages it beautifully. The pace of Sax’s and Mia’s relationship works in a very honest and natural flow. There is no rush to bed and skip the humanity about this book—though there is plenty of “bed” to keep you turning the pages. Instead you develop a very strong bond and respect for these characters because they have heart, they have spirit, and above all else, they have respect and admiration for one another that translates well. In the end, you get a book that is both arousing and downright hot, and that leaves you feeling like the characters you’re reading deserve the passion and fire they draw from one another.

The fact that she captures her love for animals and music in one incredibly sultry and steamy book makes me a fan! Sax and Mia are relatable, honest characters that really are a celebration of just how passionate good and real love can be. Well done, Storm Savage!

High Heels & Hexes

High Heels & Hexes—Book Synopsis

Naughty witches from Las Vegas must trek across the Mojave to save one of their own from a wicked demon and his brood.
Shelly is a clever, sexy, dark haired beauty from New Zealand, but this talented witch has a gift for trouble. When her sister Caroline is abducted, Shelly and her coven must risk all to save her from the demon that snatched her away. The trio of seductive witches summons a demon of their own for aid and he directs them to a dangerous cambian, half-man half-demon, who resides in Death Valley.
The cambian proves to be a powerful, handsome, and charismatic figure who is most unpredictable. Shelly’s proclivity for trouble drives her wild and she can’t help but to fall for him. However, this inscrutable cambian’s past could spell doom for the coven, along with Shelly’s heart, when it catches up with them in Los Angeles.
Four passionate witches must overcome not only a demon’s wrath, but their own dark desires in this modern day, magical, erotic fantasy. Follow these good natured, yet rambunctious, young women on their adventure of a lifetime. Will these ladies ever need anything besides their High Heels & Hexes?

Witty, charming and highly entertaining, High Heels & Hexes is a craft-filled delight.  With interesting and distinctly unique characters, author Michael Matthews Bingamon keeps the heat cranked up with sultry sex scenes, and enough snarky diatribes to keep wayward demons in line.  Mischievous plot twists abound and magic-filled mayhem follows in this short, but engrossing tale as it casts a spell over you.  A must read for all lovers of the craft.
