The Samsara Chronicles - Book 1

Blending elements of futuristic, fantasy, science fiction and the paranormal, the Samsara Chronicles explores the duality of good and evil set against two worlds, Earth and Nirvana.

Guided by mystical beings, a human mother bears a daughter of alien royalty, Aislinn, destined to champion the future of two worlds.

The Samsara Chronicles Book 1 uses vivid imagery to describe a world ravaged by war and natural disasters. The reader gets a real sense of humanity on the edge. The bleakness of food shortages, horrific disease, and a society gripped by hopelessness would seem like an odd place to start a romance novel.
However, these authors make it work by providing the world a shining beacon of salvation in Aislynn Soule, an alien princess reincarnated on Earth to human parents. Together with her fellow Earth-child companion, Dylan, Aislynn sets out to save the world. Their relationship is like a single lit candle surrounded by darkness. While others are selling their bodies for a morsel of food or a scrap of clothing or turning their souls over to an evil intergalactic invading force, there is real love and affection between our heroine and her hero.
This book does a great job at blending a sensual mainstream romance with a heavy, creative dose of science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal.  From aliens to an explanation of those famous crystal skulls, there is a little something for everyone. The love scenes are acceptable for a general audience of a wide variety of ages. At 466 pages in length, there might a concern of drag, but it really doesn’t exist. There is on-going activity the entire time. The ending sets up the second book very well while rounding out the first. If you are a sci-fi fan looking for a love story in your fiction, this book is a great way to spend a quiet afternoon.
